The person behind Quantora
Quantora is built and maintained by Hardik K Chapla, an independent algorithmic trading developer based in India. Every Expert Advisor, indicator and free tool on this site is written, tested and supported by one person — not a faceless brand and not a reseller.
Why Quantora exists
Most of the MetaTrader market is built to be sold, not to be run. Backtests get curve-fitted to one symbol and one date range, risk controls are an afterthought, and the live account behind the marketing screenshots either doesn't exist or is quietly reset when it goes wrong.
Quantora is the opposite bet: fewer products, each with a clearly defined job, and a public trading account attached that anyone can audit — including in the months where the numbers aren't flattering. Where a strategy carries a deep drawdown profile, that is stated on its product page rather than buried.
How the products are built
- Every EA is written in native MQL4/MQL5 — no copy-traded signals, no black-box DLLs.
- Strategies are tested in the MetaTrader Strategy Tester across multiple deposit sizes and symbols before release, and the full reports are published on each product page.
- Risk controls are part of the strategy, not an add-on: hard stop-losses, basket drawdown protection, spread filters and daily loss limits are built in.
- Live accounts are tracked on Myfxbook with auto-update enabled, so the published numbers cannot be hand-edited.
- Everything is distributed through the official MQL5 Market — which means a free demo, escrow-backed purchase, and MQL5's own public review system.
On the free tools
The scanner, journal, watchlist, position-size calculator, institutional-ownership pages and the rest of the research tools on this site are free, and they stay free. They exist because they were built for personal use first — and because a trader who finds the free tools genuinely useful is far better placed to judge whether the paid products are worth it.
The 13 articles in the guides section follow the same rule. They explain how to evaluate a strategy — including how to spot the failure modes of the exact category Quantora sells into — rather than working as sales copy.
What Quantora is not
- Not a signal-selling or copy-trading service — you run the software on your own account, at your own broker.
- Not a guarantee of profit. Every strategy here can lose money, and the drawdown figures on the product pages are real.
- Not a licensed financial advisor. Nothing on this site is personalised investment advice.
