Quantora EA for MT4 is the MetaTrader 4 build of the Quantora EA strategy — hands-off automation on Gold and the major indices, with grid spacing that adapts to each instrument's own volatility, RSI and price-range entry filters, and basket-level risk controls. It is sold on the MQL5 Market and its live results are shown from the Swing Trading portfolio on Myfxbook.
Same strategy, different platform
The MT4 and MT5 editions run the same underlying logic. The live figures shown on both product pages come from one Myfxbook account running the MT5 build — this is stated on the MT4 product page so nobody mistakes it for a separate track record. If your broker account is on MT4, this is the build to buy; if it's on MT5, buy the MT5 edition. The behaviour, inputs and risk profile are the same.
How it behaves on a chart
An initial position opens once the RSI and price-range filters agree, and a grid extends from there as price moves against it — with spacing that responds to current volatility rather than a fixed pip count. Each grid level can take a fixed profit or trail on its own, while the basket as a whole has a combined profit target and a drawdown cut-off in $ or % of balance. Spread and timing safeguards block entries during poor conditions.
What the inputs let you change
- Lot sizing — starting lot and linear/exponential progression for added levels
- Grid spacing and extension — the adaptive distance between levels and how deep the grid may go
- Entry filters — the RSI condition and price-range window
- Per-position management — fixed take profit or individual trailing per level
- Basket controls — combined profit target and drawdown protection
- Safeguards — spread filter and timing rules
- Dashboard — balance, P&L, profit factor, win rate, grid status
Recommended setup

- Recommended minimum balance — Indices: $500–$1,000; Gold: $5,000–$10,000
