Quantora EA MT5 is a fully automated system for traders who want hands-off execution on Gold and the major stock indices. It combines a volatility-adaptive grid with RSI and price-range entry filters, independent management of each grid position, and basket-level risk controls — all configurable, all visible on a live on-chart dashboard. It is sold on the MQL5 Market and tracked on a public Myfxbook account.
How it behaves on a chart
The EA waits for entry conditions to line up (an RSI reading and a price-range check, both filters you can tune), opens an initial position, and then extends a grid as price moves against it — with spacing that widens or tightens according to current volatility rather than a fixed step. Each grid level can either take a fixed profit of its own or trail individually, and the whole basket has its own combined profit target and drawdown cut-off.
Because spacing, filters, extension depth and lot progression are all inputs, the same EA can run conservatively on a $500 index account or more aggressively on a well-capitalised Gold account. The defaults are a reasonable middle; set files for specific brokers and balances are available on request.
Backtest results (published on the product page)
Strategy Tester reports are published for two instruments, $10,000 deposit each:
- XAUUSD (Gold) — +$56,620 net profit, 20,609 trades, with the full report and entry-timing breakdown
- USTECH (NAS100) — +$5,002 net profit, 697 trades, with the full report and entry-timing breakdown
- Live, verified figures come from the Swing Trading portfolio on Myfxbook and are shown on the product page. Note that this strategy has historically run a deeper drawdown profile than the other Quantora Robots systems — the live max drawdown is published, not hidden, and position sizing should respect it
What the inputs let you change
- Lot sizing — starting lot, and linear or exponential progression for additional grid positions
- Grid spacing — the volatility-adaptive distance between levels, plus how far the grid may extend on a deeper move (fully configurable)
- Entry filters — the RSI condition and price-range window that must be satisfied before a new grid starts
- Per-position management — fixed take profit or individual trailing for each grid level
- Basket controls — combined profit target, and drawdown protection in fixed $ or % of balance
- Safeguards — spread filter and timing rules that block entries in poor conditions
- Dashboard — real-time balance, floating and realised P&L, profit factor, win rate, grid status and the next planned entry
Recommended setup
- Instruments it is optimised for: XAUUSD, NAS100, US30, JP225 (others may work depending on broker conditions)
- Recommended minimum balance — Indices: $500–$1,000; Gold: $5,000–$10,000 for a more conservative run
- One chart per instrument
- Test on demo first with the defaults, then request a set file for your broker and balance if you want a tuned starting point
MT4 or MT5?
The same strategy is available as Quantora EA for MetaTrader 4. Both builds run identical logic and are shown against the same live Myfxbook account; choose by the platform your broker account is on. Both are sold on the MQL5 Market with a free demo.
